Paramedic-Taught Baby & Child First Aid Classes

Let’s be honest, do you actually know what to do if your baby starts choking, runs a 40-degree fever at 2 AM, or smacks their head on the coffee table?

That’s not the time to be frantically Googling.

This is exactly why we created One Mama Baby & Child First Aid. No boring classes. No old-school lectures. Just real, practical training that gives you the confidence to step up when your little one needs you most.

Our courses are taught by Practising Specialist Paramedics - Ash, Jess, and Practising Paramedic -Kasey so you know everything is up to date, evidence-based, and exactly what the professionals use.

We’ll cover the stuff every parent needs to know from baby CPR, choking, fevers, burns, allergic reactions and more all explained in a way that actually makes sense.

Available in Sydney and online, this is hands down the most practical Baby & Child First Aid training you’ll ever take.

Meet Ash

Ash is a mum to two gorgeous little girls and a specialist paramedic with nearly 8 years of experience, both here in Australia and in the UK.

She’s seen it all - from everyday lumps, bumps and bruises to serious, life threatening emergencies - and it’s given her a real passion for helping others stay calm and capable in tough situations.

She is excited to be part of the One Mama Midwife team to deliver the Baby and Child First Aid courses - to share her knowledge and give parents, families and carers, the tools and confidence to handle whatever situation comes their way.

Meet Kasey

Kasey is a paramedic with over seven years of experience, working across the United Kingdom, the Northern Territory, and now with NSW Ambulance.

Outside of work, she is either drinking coffee in a cafe or doing something adventurous. She loves camping, hiking, swimming, and spending time with her family!

She’s passionate about keeping kids safe in emergencies and helping families feel confident when it comes to children’s first aid. While she doesn’t have a baby of her own, she does have a fur baby, her border collie Dusty,  who she am completely obsessed with.

She’s always been surrounded by little ones,  both through her work and as an aunty since she was 12 — so she knows how important it is to feel calm and capable when something goes wrong.

Meet Jess

Jess is an intensive care paramedic with nearly 8 years of experience. Originally from QLD, she relocated to NSW in 2018 with her husband and has never looked back.

Owing to her experience, she has seen just how valuable basic first aid knowledge can be. Often, the actions taken in the first few minutes of an emergency—before professional help arrives—can make all the difference.

When not at work, she is normally by the ocean with coffee and a good book. She is also a proud aunt of two and loves spending time with her niece and nephew.
