Led by Practicing Midwives who know birth inside and out, we cover everything from understanding all the stages of labour and pain relief options (non-pharmacological and pharmacological options) to inductions, caesareans, forceps, vacuum, baby feeding options, postpartum care, settling techniques, SIDS and the evidence behind baby sleep. So know matter what birth throws at you, you know absolutely every option that might come up and feel confident in your decisions.

Antenatal classes are one of the best ways to prepare for birth, postpartum, and parenting. Research shows that independent, evidence-based classes like One Mama Midwife can reduce fear, anxiety, medical interventions, and postpartum post-traumatic stress disorder (Gün Kakaşçı, et al., 2023).
Fear during labour can slow progress, impact your mental state, and increase the likelihood of operative births and negative experiences. Our classes equip you with the tools and knowledge to feel confident and in control, reducing fear and helping you navigate your birth with clarity and calm.
They don’t just stop at labour preparation our classes also increase your self-confidence, both in the delivery room and throughout the postpartum period.

Our classes are led by practising Midwives working in labour wards, bringing real-world experience and the latest insights to modern parents. We know that no two births are the same (we’ve seen it all) and focus on providing you with practical tools, evidence-based education, and empowering you and your support person for all types of birth and postpartum periods so that you can make the decisions that are right for you and your family.
With ongoing access to Founder Loz, a WhatsApp group for connecting with other parents, and a goodie bag of resources, our fun and interactive classes are more than preparation—they’re your first step into a supportive community.
