Meet the Inner West Sydney Team
Ella
Ella is a registered Midwife who enjoys working in all areas of midwifery including birthing unit, antenatal and postnatal wards. Ella is passionate about providing women and families with education around pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period and feels privileged to be able to hold this safe spaces, as a Midwife, for families to grow.
Aside from Midwifery Ella has completed her Reproductive and Sexual health accreditation program with Family Planning and is in the process of completing her Masters in Public Health.
Ella also enjoys teaching Pilates and Dance in her free time, where she loves sharing her love of movement to others!
Anna
Anna is a nurse, midwife, mother, and wife. She has experience across adult and newborn nursing, and multiple aspects of midwifery, from homebirth to caesarean birth. She has worked in two high risk hospitals which allowed her to support women throughout both high and low-risk pregnancies, and she even supported women throughout vaginal breech births.
Currently you’ll find her either on the antenatal ward or chasing after my son. She believes it’s an honour to play a role in the most transformative time in a persons life; the casual miracle that is a woman birthing a baby, and a part of herself.
She is incredibly passionate about antenatal education and ensuring that women, birthing people and families feel confident to ask questions, make decisions, and speak up. “After all, this is your story to tell!”
Sophia
Sophia is a Registered Midwife currently working in Midwifery Group Practice. She is always looking to upskill and loves learning new things. As such, she is currently doing her Masters in Global Health. She loves working in the birthing space and providing antenatal and postnatal care in the community . The variety of being to see women both in the hospital and at home is such a privilege to Sophia.
"It is not the making of babies but the making of mothers that is the miracle of childbirth."
